THE DEEP END UP

The Deep End Camp originally formed in 2001 from a group of like- minded individuals who had a genuine love of banging house music, tasty cocktails, and dancing in the hot desert sunshine. Burning Man had The Floating World theme in 2002, so we went with a pool party idea, complete with a thatched tiki bar, oversized kiddie pool, and a six-seater lifeguard stand. We called ourselves "The Deep End," and the name stuck with us. Since the time when were dubbed "Best Kept Secret on the Playa," by appreciative bloggers, our camp has become the destination Day Camp at Burning Man.

Even as our camp evolves every year, one goal remains the same: to stir up a great vibe from sun-up to sundown, in the best way we know how. Our eclectic group of people offer up their
talents — be it spinning records, slinging drinks, construction craftiness, technological wizardry, performance art, or benevolent mischief— all to become the refreshing blend we serve up: The Deep End. We live and breathe Burning Man year round, and look forward to that one week in August each year when we give back to the community that has inspired us and bonded us together.
